About the game
What you do in a play session
Ever been obsessed with finding the daily word in Wordle? Well, Fiction takes that core concept and gives it a literary upgrade worthy of a classic library! Here, the vibe is all about mystery and a touch of deception. In each session, one player steps into the role of the 'Lie-brarian' and picks a secret word from a famous literary work. The rest of the players act as a team of investigators, working together to solve the enigma as quickly as possible. But don't let the friendly name fool you: the Lie-brarian is a master of deceit. They will provide clues to help the group, but there's a catch: every single clue contains exactly one lie. It's a pure logic game where you must filter truth from fiction to avoid wasting precious time. The team has ten attempts and two ten-minute windows to crack the code. If the group guesses the word, everyone wins; if time runs out or attempts are exhausted, the Lie-brarian wins. It's a fast-paced, perfect choice for those who love mental challenges and want something that flows smoothly between rounds. Just a heads-up from a friend: since the focus is on words from classic literature, language dependency is a real factor, so have your dictionary ready or ensure your version is translated so you don't struggle during the deduction process!
