Ever imagined trying to build a spaceship while the clock is ticking and everyone is fighting over the same parts? Welcome to the chaos of Galaxy Trucker! In this game, you and your friends are space truckers with a simple mission: reach the destination with your ship (and crew) intact. But since nothing is easy in space, the fun starts in the construction phase. In real-time, you'll rummage through a common warehouse, frantically grabbing tiles to build the best ship possible. The catch? You might snag a powerful engine but forget the cockpit, or place the kitchen where the life support should be.
Once launched, the tension persists. The journey is filled with unpredictable events, space pirates, and cosmic hazards that can rip pieces off your ship and fling your crew into the void. The goal is to survive and, if possible, make a profit. You earn credits by delivering cargo, defeating pirates, or simply having the most aesthetically pleasing ship in the fleet.
This second edition brings Vlaada Chvátil's genius with a fresh look: updated art, more ship tiles, and streamlined rules. Now, the standard experience consists of a single flight, making the gameplay more dynamic. However, if you're the type who enjoys a harder challenge, there's the 'Transgalactic Trek' option, a three-flight campaign that tests the strength of your hull and the players' patience. It's a game where defeat is often as funny as victory, turning the destruction of your ship into a table-top spectacle.

Is the game hard to learn?
Not at all! It's designed to be intuitive. The 'hard' part is the time pressure during building, but the basic rules are simple.
How long does a game take?
Usually between 20 to 30 minutes, making it a great game-opener for the night.
Does it work well with 2 players?
Yes, but the game truly shines with 3 or 4 players, where the scramble for parts in the warehouse becomes more intense.
Is it a strategic or luck-based game?
There's strategy in the build, but luck (dice and events) plays a huge role. It's more about managing the disaster than avoiding it.
What's the difference between this edition and the original?
New art, more tiles, tweaked card effects, and a faster game flow focusing on a single flight.
