About the game

What you do in a play session

Welcome to Glass Garden: Centerpieces, the expansion that gives your terrarium a fresh twist with new centerpiece plants and hungry critters that will test your strategy. Instead of just tending the plants you already have, you can now place a special plant on top of your top row—one that only appears when you manage to create a unique pattern with the other cards. When the pattern is formed, the plant grows, flips over, and triggers an effect that can change the course of the game. But don’t think it’s all about patterns: each new critter has different damage abilities and, more importantly, limits which plants you can move or grow. This means that while you’re trying to build your terrarium, you also have to deal with unexpected restrictions, keeping the game dynamic and surprising. The expansion contains just six cards, so it’s easy to add to your collection, and it can even be printed at home if you prefer. As a solo game, it keeps the solitaire mechanics of the base, but with added challenges that require constant attention. If you love a light card game with a farming feel and a dash of surprise, Glass Garden: Centerpieces is a choice that will make your terrarium truly sparkle.
