About the game
What you do in a play session
Picture this: mischievous goblins have escaped into our world through magical mushroom rings. Your mission? Send these little rascals back home before they cause too much trouble. But beware, an ancient spell loves to switch things up: fairies turn into goblins, and goblins turn into fairies with a simple rhyme!
Each player starts with cards flipped to the goblin side. In the center of the table, the "Fairy Ring" holds a few cards flipped to the fairy side. On your turn, you play a card to the Ring. If the name of the card you played rhymes with the name of any card already in the Ring, that card gets flipped! Fairies become goblins, goblins become fairies. After this twist, you then take cards from the Ring that match the symbol of the card you played. The goal is to be the first to get rid of all your goblins or collect six fairies.
With simple components (just 20 double-sided cards!), easy-to-grasp rules, and games that last about 15 minutes, this game is perfect for family game night, introducing the hobby to younger players, or for a quick, lighthearted break. It blends hand management, memory, and set collection in a very light and thematic way. It's the kind of game that proves fun doesn't have to be complicated!
