About the game
Hey everyone, check out Granada! Imagine a game that's like a souped-up version of Alhambra, but it stands perfectly well on its own. Here, we step into the shoes of builders in the beautiful city of Granada, nestled at the foot of the Sierra Nevada mountains, with the majestic Alhambra as our backdrop. Our goal? To expand the city by buying and placing building tiles, of course, aiming to rack up the most victory points.

The twist here is that the tiles are double-sided, each with a different value, and the building types don't have a fixed worth. The value of each building is determined by how many of that type all players have built, multiplied by a factor that increases with each scoring round. This adds an extra layer of strategy, as you need to keep an eye not only on what you're building but also on what your opponents are up to. And when scoring happens, no more ties! If players are tied in quantity, the one with the highest-valued tile of that building type wins. So, it pays to invest in those pricier tiles!

The scoring rounds get more intense: in the first, only the leader scores; in the second, the top two; and in the final round, the top three get a slice of the glory. Oh, and instead of walls, we now have moats. It might seem like a small change, but they say it makes building a bit more challenging. If you enjoy a tile-placement game with a dash of speculation and set collection, where every decision matters and the value of things changes dynamically, Granada is a fantastic choice!
