About the game

What you do in a play session

In the cursed realm of the Forgotten West, a mash‑up of western, sci‑fi and dark fantasy, you’ve been turned by the Iron Witch into a Grimslinger – a metal‑clad sorcerer wielding machines and elemental powers. Your goal is to survive and prove your worth, either by dueling other Grimslingers or cooperating to face the nightmarish denizens of the land. The game offers two modes: in Versus, 2‑6 players can form teams or free‑for‑all, using a deck packed with spells, items and unique abilities, resolved with dice rolls, simultaneous choices and even a rock‑paper‑scissors showdown. In Cooperative mode, 1‑4 players embark on a four‑session campaign, each lasting 60‑90 minutes, moving point‑to‑point across a map, gathering loot, leveling up and battling bizarre creatures. Push‑Your‑Luck mechanics and Variable Player Powers make every game feel fresh, while simultaneous action selection adds tension and surprise. With a light weight (2.7/5) and flexible playtime, Grimslingers is easy to pick up for groups wanting a quick, thematic, dark‑humor experience where metal meets magic.
