About the game
What you do in a play session
If you thought the chaos in Here to Slay was already at its peak, get ready to brace yourself (and your friendships), because Banner Quest is here to crank up the intensity! This expansion isn't just a sidekick; it introduces a brand-new way to win that will keep everyone on the edge of their seats. Now, besides slaying monsters, you need to strategically claim Banners to secure your victory.
The core of the excitement lies in building your Party to seize these Banners. You'll encounter two main types: Class Banners and the legendary Hunter’s Trophy. To claim a Class Banner, you must be the first to gather three heroes of that specific class. Then there's the Hunter’s Trophy—a true 'king of the hill' item that jumps from player to player every time a monster is slain. It is the ultimate 'Take That' experience: you might be inches away from winning, only for an opponent to snatch your Banner right out from under you!
To keep the tactical depth high, the expansion introduces new effects and even mechanics to change your heroes' classes, giving you a massive edge in monster hunting or banner collecting. And don't worry about losing track of everything; the expansion includes double-sided class tokens to help you manage your evolving Party with ease. The gameplay remains fast, punchy, and filled with the delightful mischief the series is known for. It is the perfect addition for players seeking more strategic depth without sacrificing the high-energy fun of a top-tier party game. Just a heads-up: expect plenty of twists and turns that will definitely test your friendships!
