Alright, folks! Get ready for some serious laughs with *How Dare You?*, a super compact party game you can take anywhere and play in any situation, from a dinner with friends to a family gathering. The premise is simple, but the fun is guaranteed: one player reads a question whose answer is always a number, and the active player has to guess a value that is close to, but never higher than, the correct answer. Sounds easy, right? But the catch is that each player, on their turn, must guess a higher number than the previous player, or, if they're suspicious, they can shout "DARE!"
When someone dares, the truth is revealed! If the previous guess was too high, the player who guessed incorrectly takes the card as a "silly goose point." If the challenger was wrong and the guess was correct, they themselves get the card. The game continues like this, with players accumulating these "silly goose" cards. The main goal? Don't be the player with the most cards at the end, because whoever has the biggest pile of "silly goose points" loses the game, while everyone else celebrates victory! It's a game that requires almost no table space, perfect for livening up any environment.
And for those who like a little extra spice, *How Dare You?* also offers two optional rules that amp up the gameplay. The first is the "Doubling" rule: if you guess a number that is at least double the previous guess, you earn a doubling card that negates one "silly goose point." This encourages you to take more risks! The second is the "Double Dare": if you are dared, you can accept the normal check or counter-attack with a "Double Dare." Whoever is wrong now takes two cards! But be careful, the player who initiated the original dare can chicken out and withdraw their dare, having to make a higher guess to continue the round. It's pure adrenaline and laughter!
