About the game
What you do in a play session
You know that epic moment in a video game when the music shifts, the screen shakes, and you realize you're facing the ultimate challenge? That is exactly the energy Hyperstar Run: Final Bosses brings to your tabletop! If you've mastered the base game and are looking for that extra layer of adrenaline and-just-a-little-bit-of-stress, these bosses are calling your name.
Despite being a tiny expansion with only three-card-based-content, it packs a massive-sounding punch. You pick one of the three unique-boss cards and slot it into your level, replacing the 6th card. But don's think it's just another-enemy; these are-bosses. The-fight is split into two distinct stages. First, you'll face the boss's initial form, using your button-press mechanics to wear them down. Once defeated, you get a sweet-smelling-bonus ability, but don't celebrate too early—the boss flips into its final form and moves to the end of your level row!
To actually win the game, you'll need to navigate specific-requirements and execute precise combos required by the boss's final form. It's all about timing, resource management, and not panicking when the stakes are highest. Plus, for the completionists out there, the expansion includes four new achievements to track your mastery. It's the perfect way to turn a quick-fire-run into a legendary showdown. Ready to face the final-final boss?
