About the game
Prepare your legions! Imperial Settlers: Empires of the North – Roman Banners brings the glory of Rome to your tabletop. This expansion adds two brand-new Roman clans and a set of extra island cards, immersing you in new strategies and challenges. The Romans, known for their thirst for expansion, sailed far and wide in search of wealth and domains, and now their legions have their sights set on the territories of the Empires of the North.

With the Flavian and Trajana clans, the gameplay experience gains new layers. The Flavian clan is a master of rebuilding, transforming old structures into grander, more powerful edifices. The more you build, the easier it becomes to acquire new structures, introducing an interesting mechanic of building on foundations. The Trajana clan, on the other hand, is for adventurers, focused on territorial expansion. But beware: a constantly growing empire demands ever-increasing costs, so developing a solid economy is crucial to funding Trajana's ambitious plans.

In addition to the clans, the expansion also includes six new island cards (four nearby and two distant) with fresh abilities, further boosting the replayability of the base game. And to top it off, four new score tokens in the colors of the Roman clans are included to replace the original tokens, ensuring your table looks even more thematic and beautiful. If you're already a fan of Imperial Settlers: Empires of the North, this expansion is a treat to refresh your strategies and explore the power of the Roman Empire!
