About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for a nail-biting noir detective game with Intent to Kill! In this thrilling experience, one of you steps into the shoes of a master criminal, a serial killer who must meticulously plan every move to evade capture, all while concealing their dark motives. The other player becomes a sharp detective, hot on the trail, gathering clues and interrogating civilians – but beware, not everyone tells the truth! With a new murder occurring each round, the detective races through the city blocks, collecting intel and pressuring witnesses who might hold the key to the mystery. Meanwhile, the killer can intimidate these same individuals to stall the investigation and buy precious time. The game concludes after the fifth murder, and the pressure is immense: the detective must identify the culprit among the civilians and uncover their motive by analyzing the crimes. If the detective fails, the killer claims victory. But the fun doesn't stop there! You can spice things up by combining different motives, adding extra components, and diving into varied scenarios. Once you've mastered the basics, the real battle begins: experienced players, adept at both roles, face off in an intense duel of wits and strategy. This game challenges your deduction skills and your ability to bluff, making it perfect for anyone who loves a good mystery with plenty of twists.
