About the game

What you do in a play session

Invincible: The Card Game puts you in command of young superheroes striving to become the new Guardians of the Globe. In each game, you take on the role of an iconic character from the comic universe, battling villains threatening Earth. The twist? You never shuffle your deck—every card stays in the same order, letting you craft combos with full precision. At the start of each fight, you get a hero‑specific deck and a unique special ability. From there, your job is to build a card arsenal, charge energy, and choose the best strategy to fend off hordes of minions, devastating attacks, and the villains’ own special powers. The game runs solo or cooperatively, with 60‑minute sessions. For a deeper experience, the campaign mode offers more than four fully customizable battles, unlocking team attacks and combos that grow stronger as you progress, while the villains ramp up the challenge. Random turn order and constant adaptation make teamwork essential. The goal is simple: survive, protect Earth, and defeat the universe’s most powerful foes. If you love deck building, comic themes, and cooperative challenges, Invincible: The Card Game will keep you hooked. Each hero comes with a set of cards representing powers, attacks, and defenses, and you can purchase new cards throughout the game, always keeping the original order. The "Delayed Purchase" mechanic lets you acquire cards at strategic moments, keeping the element of surprise. Villains have abilities that demand quick responses, and "Variable Phase Order" makes each turn unpredictable, requiring strategic adjustments. The game is beginner‑friendly yet offers enough depth for veterans seeking to optimize combos. Sturdy components—energy tokens, health tokens, etc.—add a tactile layer, while the card design keeps the vibrant aesthetic of the Invincible universe.
