About the game

What you do in a play session

If you think racing is just about who hits the gas hardest, Joyride: Survival of the Fastest is here to prove that the real fun lies in the chaos. The goal is to cross the finish line, but the shortest path might literally be right through your opponents. It's a high-interaction game where tactical planning blends with the adrenaline of pushing your luck.

Each player takes control of a car with unique abilities. Do you want the reliability of Auto-Pilot, the precision of Handbrake Turn, or do you prefer to cause total mayhem with the Donut? Your choice of vehicle completely changes your approach to the track. The heart of the game is your dashboard, where you manipulate dice to move forward. The dilemma is constant: do you lock in your results for maximum control, or risk rolling again to gain that extra inch and take the lead?

The board is versatile, featuring double-sided maps with layouts that adjust based on player count and skill level. Checkpoints can be crossed from any direction, allowing you to create wild racing lines, even driving into oncoming traffic if it gives you an edge. Make no mistake: smashing into opponents is a core strategy. Spinning a rival or pushing them off course is often the best way to clear your path.

To spice up the competition, powerful items turn the race into an all-out war. Rockets, oil slicks, and air strikes are available to wreck the competition. However, be careful: damage permanently blocks parts of your dashboard. Will you sacrifice your fifth gear to store more items, or keep your top speed and pray you don't get blown up? It's a fast, loud, and explosive experience, perfect for those who love unapologetic competitiveness.
