About the game
What you do in a play session
A tear in the multiverse has the cosmos bleeding, and chaos spreads across the streets of Mega‑City One. Now Celtic barbarians storm Ezquerra Block, Russian nobles control Apetown, and fragments of parallel realities drift through the metropolis, waiting to be claimed. Judge Dredd: Helter Skelter brings these scenarios to a miniatures board game where iconic 2000 AD factions – the relentless Judges, Sláine and his Celtic war‑band, Strontium Dog and Nikolai Dante – clash over shards of their own universes. Each side has its own action deck and special abilities that define its playstyle: Judges fire explosive ammo, Sláine unleashes primal fury, while the others wield high‑tech tricks or magic. The board is divided into zones, making large‑scale movement and tactical positioning easy. You manage a hand of cards, choosing when to launch attacks, defenses or interruptions, and you can even steal a kill from a nearly‑defeated enemy unit for extra points. Units are deployed secretly, creating surprise when they finally appear on the battlefield. The game blends hand management, interrupt timing, variable player powers and a dash of kill‑steal, all in 30‑60‑minute rounds for 2‑4 players. With a light complexity rating (2.1 weight), both newcomers and veteran miniaturists can enjoy the fast‑paced action and vibrant theme. If you love comic‑book brawls, detailed miniatures and strategies that read opponents, Helter Skelter delivers a chaotic, fun experience with plenty of room to tailor your own style.
