What you do in a play session

Hey everyone! Ready to tackle the 'southern peak' of Lhotse, a mountain that has defeated many seasoned climbers? K2: Lhotse is the expansion that brings a new challenge for those who've already mastered K2. Featuring a brand-new board that can be flipped for two different scenarios, things are about to get intense!

The first side throws you into a strategic fight against time and weather, dividing the mountain into sectors and introducing new weather tiles that vary by area. The real game-changer here is the fixed ropes! They allow you to create your own routes, whether for a quicker escape from an avalanche or bad weather. It's pure tactical survival!

The second scenario is a frantic race up the 'southern pass,' the 'easier' route to Everest. Here, you have to discard 3 cards right at the start, but the better cards you ditch actually earn you more victory points at the end. And time is tight: only 15 days to reach the summit! If you enjoy K2 and crave more challenge, with new mechanics and scenarios that push you out of your comfort zone, this expansion is for you. Remember, you NEED the base game K2 to play this gem!
