About the game
What you do in a play session
Kamisado is a game of pure abstract strategy, where luck takes a backseat! Prepare for a mind duel on a vibrant 8x8 colored board. The objective is straightforward: get your 'Dragon Tower' to the opposite side of the board. But here's the twist: you can only move the tower that matches the color of the space your opponent just landed on. This creates a modern chess-like experience, where each move opens or closes paths, demanding foresight and keen attention to your opponent's plays.
As the game progresses, your older towers can be promoted to 'Sumos', gaining the powerful ability to push opponent's pieces back! This 'push' mechanic not only gives you a tactical advantage but can also earn you extra turns, speeding up the game and increasing complexity. Tension escalates with every move, as the board becomes a maze of possibilities and blockades. Whoever masters this dance of colors and pushes, accumulating enough points, will be crowned the 'Kamisado Grand Master'. It's a fast-paced game, with matches lasting around 20 minutes, perfect for those who enjoy strategic challenges and intense duels.
