About the game
Get ready for a race against time and your friends in Klunker, a card game that brings to mind the famous Bohnanza, but with a daring twist! Here, the goal is to become the biggest jeweler (or jewel thief!) around, collecting sets of four identical jewels to cash in big. Each player starts with a few jewels in hand and a personal safe where the jewels must be stored. On your turn, you display some jewels in your storefront, as if announcing your stock. Then, a negotiation round begins where you can buy jewels from other players' storefronts (or even your own, if you wish!) using your banknotes. But beware: if you decide not to buy anything, the game progresses, and everyone replenishes their hands. The trick is knowing when and how to turn your jewels into cash. Gathering four identical jewels is the key, but the amount of money you earn depends on how many different types of jewels you already have in your safe. The more variety, the less money! The game ends when the deck runs out, and whoever has the most banknotes wins. Klunker is fast, interactive, and perfect for those who enjoy bluffing and negotiating.

Frequently Asked Questions
What type of player is Klunker for?
It's ideal for those who enjoy light, fast-paced card games with plenty of player interaction and negotiation. It's not a game for those seeking deep strategic complexity.
What is the average game length?
Games are quite fast, usually lasting around 30 minutes, as indicated.
Is there a lot of text dependency in the game?
No! The cards don't have text, only symbols and numbers, which greatly facilitates learning and gameplay, even with people who don't speak Portuguese.
How many different types of jewels are in the game?
There are seven different types of jewels in the game, and the goal is to collect four of the same type to 'sell' and earn money.
How does scoring work in Klunker?
Scoring is done in cash (banknotes). You earn money by forming sets of four identical jewels, but the exact amount depends on the diversity of jewels you already have in your safe. Whoever has the most cash at the end wins.
Can I buy my own jewels from my storefront?
Yes! If you think it's worth it, you can buy the jewels you placed in your own storefront using your money.
