About the game
You know that moment when you decide to pass a round in L.A.M.A. to avoid high scores, but you still feel like you could have done something better? That's exactly where the 'No Drama' promotional card comes in. This small addition transforms the dynamics for those who fold early, providing a strategic breather for players who abandoned the competition prematurely. The rule is straightforward: the card stays in the center of the table, and as soon as you decide to pass, you pick it up. If another player already has the card, you simply 'steal' it from them. The only golden rule is that the last remaining player in the round cannot take the card, as they are already committed to the end.

The real advantage happens when the round ends. Whoever is holding the 'No Drama' card earns the privilege of discarding one card from their hand before counting points. This is pure gold, as it significantly reduces the final penalty! Furthermore, if the discarded card was the last one in your hand, you can also return one token (either black or white), further cleaning up your score. It's essentially an insurance policy against bad luck or a reward for knowing exactly when to bow out.

Since it's a promotional item, it isn't sold separately in standard stores, having been distributed as a gift for the first buyers of each PaperGames print run in Brazil. It doesn't change the core essence of the game, but it adds an interesting layer of interaction, as players will now fight over who can hold onto the card until the end of the round. It's a small detail that brings more lightness and strategy to L.A.M.A.'s fast-paced matches, making the act of passing less painful and more tactical.
