About the game
Grab your lab coat, because science has gone wild! In Lab Rats, you aren't a brilliant scientist, but a lab rat trying to survive the chaos of an experiment gone horribly wrong. The atmosphere is pure adrenaline and sabotage, where the goal is to be the last survivor amidst explosions and unstable chemical reactions. The gameplay is fast-paced and chaotic: you must open doors in a collapsing lab, face dangerous obstacles, and hope your potions work at just the right time.

The game operates in a very dynamic way. In the center of the table, door cards are placed face down, creating a landscape of uncertainty. When it's your turn, you face whatever is behind that door. If you have the right potion to solve the problem, great! If not, get ready to take a wound. If you accumulate too many wounds, bye-bye, rat! You're out of the round. But don't think it's just pure luck; there's a strategic layer where you try to collect rewards, like cheese tokens (your big goal!) or tokens that can be dangerous if accumulated in excess.

You'll also deal with the element of uncertainty while managing what you have in hand to avoid being eliminated. It's a constant 'take that' game, where one miscalculation or a wrong read of what others are doing can result in a beaker exploding right in your face. It's perfect for those who want a quick game, full of laughter and that touch of tension from being about to be poisoned or blown up. If you enjoy fast card games with direct interaction and plenty of mayhem among players, Lab Rats is your new favorite experiment!
