Get ready for a weekend of pure terror with Last Friday! Inspired by classic slasher horror films, this game puts one of you in the shoes of a ruthless psychopath lurking in the forest shadows, while the rest take on the roles of unlucky campers trying to survive. Each game, one player is the hunter and the others are the prey. The killer's objective is clear: eliminate all campers without being discovered. Meanwhile, the camper group needs to use intelligence and teamwork to track down and take out the maniac before he gets them one by one.
The game unfolds over four chapters, each with its own twists and challenges. It starts with arrival at the camp, progresses to a tense chase, dives into a terrifying massacre, and culminates in an epic final showdown. The dynamic shifts with each phase: the hunter can become the hunted, and the psychopath, well, he has a way of coming back from the dead for revenge! With mechanics of hidden movement, deduction, and variable powers, each game is a unique and suspenseful experience. It's the kind of game that makes for great stories and lots of (nervous) laughter! Perfect for those who enjoy a horror movie vibe and aren't afraid of a good team challenge.

How many players can play Last Friday?
Last Friday is for 2 to 6 players. It works very well with a one-vs-many dynamic, so having at least 3 players is recommended for a more balanced experience.
How long does a game take?
Games can vary significantly, from 30 to 120 minutes. This largely depends on the number of players and how skilled they are at deduction or hiding.
Is the game difficult to learn?
The complexity is moderate (BGG weight 2.26/5). The basic rules are straightforward, but mastering the tactics and understanding the nuances of each chapter might take a few plays.
Do I need to know English to play?
The game has moderate language dependency. Cards and the board have text, so it's recommended to have a translated spreadsheet or translated cards to play comfortably in English.
Is it a cooperative or competitive game?
It's an asymmetrical game: one player is the killer (competing against the others), and the rest are campers who play as a team (cooperative among themselves) against the killer.
What is the main mechanic of the game?
The hidden movement mechanic is the heart of the game. One player secretly moves around the board, while the others try to deduce their location and set up an ambush.
Who would you recommend Last Friday to?
We recommend it for those who enjoy deduction games, suspense, and the slasher horror theme. It's great for groups who like having one player as the 'villain' against the rest.
