About the game
What you do in a play session
Lazy Bellboys casts you as two lazy bellboys trying to minimize the luggage they must carry. Each game unfolds over 7 nights and 8 days of stay, where three guest groups – families, celebrities, and hitmen – bring varying amounts of bags. The goal is to avoid having customers who brought no luggage be forced to remove all their bags at checkout. The core mechanic is trick-taking: each round players play a card and the highest card (or the one following the leading suit) wins the trick, allowing you to “win” the chance to reduce the load. Strategies involve choosing when to play high-value cards to win critical tricks and when to “unload” baggage that could be removed at the end. The game has simple components – a deck of cards and baggage tokens – but offers quick, short-term tactical decisions. The pace is fast, with games lasting 15 to 30 minutes, ideal for those looking for something light yet still challenging. Lazy Bellboys brings subtle humor about hotel bellboys’ life, and the baggage theme adds a fun visual layer. If you enjoy quick trick-taking and games that require attention to detail, this title could be a great addition to your casual game collection.
