Ever had one of those family nights where everyone gathers around the table to laugh and create memories? Le storie della famiglia Emozioni is exactly that kind of experience! The game introduces us to a super charismatic crew — Joy, Sadness, Anger, Fear, and Disgust — who absolutely love storytelling. But don't be fooled: it's not just about sitting down and telling fairy tales. The real challenge lies in pure perception and the synergy between players.
The gameplay is incredibly dynamic and intuitive. In each round, one player acts as the narrator and draws an Emotion card. Here's the twist: they must look at the Fairy Tale cards already on the table and decide which one perfectly matches the feeling of that emotion card. They make their choice secretly, and the other players must jump in and try to guess which card was chosen. It's a social deduction game, but with a very special cooperative twist.
But watch out: mistakes can be costly! If the group isn't in sync and associates the story with the wrong narrator, the Emotions family might take offense, and the game is over. The ultimate goal is to clear the entire Emotion card deck, but there's a constant danger: if anyone picks a fairy tale card marked with the flame symbol, the game ends immediately. It's a fast-paced game, perfect for a quick 20 to 30-minute session before bed or during a break, making it a fantastic choice to introduce children to the world of board games in a lighthearted and fun way. It's all about understanding what others are feeling and turning it into a shared story!
