Game Objective
The game's theme revolves around testing your courage by entering a restroom. The players' goal is to stay in the restroom until the last possible moment of each round to accumulate points. The victory condition is clear: the first person to achieve two wins wins the game.
Setup
- Shuffle the Bathroom Ghost card and the six Bathroom Stall cards. Place them in the center of the table.
- Shuffle all other cards and form a face-down draw pile within everyone's reach.
- Determining the first player: The person who went to the bathroom most recently starts.
- Adjustment for 2 or 3 players: Remove the Bathroom cards that have no score from the game.
Game Flow
The game proceeds clockwise. The basic structure works as follows:
- Turn Decision: On their turn, each player decides if they "go to the bathroom."
- If yes: The player takes the top card from the pile and reveals it to everyone, placing it in front of them.
- If no: The player stops drawing cards and takes no further actions until the end of the round.
- Interaction with the Center of the Table: Some cards revealed from the pile force or allow the player to interact with the 7 cards arranged in the center of the table.
- Reveal Events: Depending on the card revealed, the turn order may be reversed, or cards from the center of the table may be opened or removed.
Actions and How to Play
There are 8 types of cards that can be revealed from the pile, each with a different effect:
- Bathroom (Women's, Men's, and Accessible): These provide points (1 or 2 points), except for two cards that are null. They must be placed in front of the player and revealed.
- Knock-Knock: The player takes a Toilet Paper token and reverses the turn order. If no tokens are available, the player may choose and take any token from another participant.
- Scream: Forces the player to open one of the face-down cards in the center of the table.
- Hair Strands: The player invites another participant to open a card from the center of the table. If it is a Score card, the person who invited them keeps it. If it is the Bathroom Ghost, the person who opened the card suffers the consequences.
- Flush: The player chooses a scoring card from another participant and removes it from the round.
- Toilet Kick: The player chooses a face-down card from the center of the table and removes it from the round without anyone seeing it.
- Mirror: At the end of the round, during the count, this card transforms into another scoring card (either the player's own or another's).
- Light Switch: The player keeps the card. They can use it to end the round on their turn. If not used, it is worth 2 points at the end of the round.
Specific Interactions
Center Table Cards:
- Score: There are 6 cards (Stalls) with higher scores than the Bathroom cards. When revealed, they add to the player's score.
- Bathroom Ghost: Whoever reveals it loses all acquired cards and the round ends instantly. Exception: if the player has 2 Bathroom cards of the same type (Women's, Men's, or Accessible), they can discard them to escape and stay in the game. In this case, the Bathroom Ghost is reshuffled back into the center of the table.
Toilet Paper Tokens:
- Each token is worth 1 point at the end of the round.
- Tokens are not returned at the end of the round; the player keeps them for the next one.
- Special Action: When someone reveals the Scream card, a token holder can discard it to "accompany the opponent to the bathroom." The person who revealed the Scream chooses their card in the center without opening it, followed by the token holders (in order of use). The cards are revealed sequentially. If the Bathroom Ghost appears, those remaining in the sequence do not open their cards, even if they spent a token.
End of Game and Scoring
End of the Round
The round ends immediately when one of these three triggers occurs:
- A player reveals the Bathroom Ghost and does not have 2 Bathroom cards of the same type to discard.
- The player with the Light Switch card decides to end the round.
- The third Scream card is resolved.
Point Counting and Victory
- Sum the points of all acquired cards and the Toilet Paper tokens (1 point each).
- The player with the most points records a victory.
- Tie-breaker: The winner is the one who achieved their score using fewer Bathroom cards.
- Final Victory: The game ends when a player wins two rounds.
Tips for Winning
- Protect yourself from the Ghost: Try to keep two Bathroom cards of the same type to ensure you don't lose everything if you reveal the Bathroom Ghost.
- Token Management: Use Toilet Paper tokens strategically to try and capture Score cards from the center of the table when someone reveals a Scream.
