About the game
What you do in a play session
Lords of Vegas: Americana is the expansion that opens the doors to three new gambling hotspots across the US: Atlantic City, Reno and 1881 Tombstone. Each scenario adds an exclusive board, fresh cards and thematic markers, letting you swap the neon of Las Vegas for New Jersey's beaches, Nevada's dry desert or Arizona's Wild West. The core of the game—bidding for land lots, building casinos and controlling areas—remains, now enriched with dice rolling, random production and more trading. You’ll still use the iconic wooden cowboys, wooden Ferris wheels and New Orleans riverboat tiles to claim space and attract visitors. The expansion requires any edition of the base game and supports 2‑6 players, except Reno which is best with 2‑3. With 55 (or 56, depending on the print) cards, 60 Tombstone lot markers and a host of new components, the material is solid and well‑designed. Playtime ranges from 30 to 90 minutes, depending on player count and map, and the complexity stays light (weight 2/5), perfect for those who want an economic game without a rule avalanche. If you love city‑building, area influence and a dash of dice‑driven luck, Americana adds fresh strategies and high replay value while keeping the spirit that made Lords of Vegas a hit. Get ready to trade, roll, and maybe catch the leader in the act!
