About the game

What you do in a play session

Get ready for a wild mix of tabletop RPG and comic book! In Luddite, you and anyone else who wants to join (literally, no limit!) will dive into a campaign full of action against rogue robots. The premise is that you're a Luddite, someone who hates technology, hacking into the neural networks of the NED automata – these cybernetic creatures that are replacing people. The core gameplay involves rolling three dice and using the results to navigate through these robots' systems, opening and closing logic gates to destroy them. All the while, you'll collect resources to help you out. Each round, you must assign a die to the clock module: the higher the number, the more damage you inflict, but the less time you have to escape. It's pure 'push your luck' tension deciding if the risk is worth it! If time runs out before you find the exit, your hack fails. The game is a roll-and-write, but with a campaign feel and an integrated comic book that tells this sci-fi story from the Solar 175 universe, featuring incredible art by Adam Beachey. It's perfect for those who enjoy an engaging narrative mixed with tense gameplay and a touch of luck.
