About the game
Imagine you are an artist striving to create the most harmonious mandala of all. In Mandala Stones, the goal is straightforward, but the execution requires the kind of strategic planning we love. You control artists moving across the board to collect colorful stones and organize them into towers on your own individual player board. However, it's not just about grabbing any stone; you need artists with the correct pattern who aren't 'blocked' by other artists.

The gameplay revolves around two main actions: picking or scoring. When you pick, you move your artist and stack the stones in a clockwise direction, creating towers that serve as the foundation for your points. When it's time to score, things get interesting. You can remove stones from the top in a simple way (earning 1 point per piece) or make bolder moves, removing matching colors from the tops of multiple towers to activate powerful bonuses. These bonuses depend on tower height, color variety, or even the overall configuration of your board.

The finishing touch happens on the shared central mandala. Every stone removed from your board is placed there, filling the space from the inside out. Depending on where your stone lands, you might earn extra points, but be careful: if someone covers the final space, the game ends! To top it off, there are secret objectives that can give you that final push in the score. It's a visually stunning game with elegant rules that blend the tranquility of building with the tension of competing for central space. Perfect for those who enjoy abstract games that don't sacrifice strategic depth.
