Mansions of Madness: Second Edition – Horrific Journeys is the premium expansion that takes your investigation beyond Arkham’s borders, launching into three heart‑pounding scenarios: a transatlantic dirigible, a luxury ocean liner, and a scenic countryside train. Three new investigators join the table, each with unique powers that shift how you play and demand different tactics. The modular board shifts with each scenario, with tiles that change positions and reveal new threats as you move. The game is cooperative, but one player can become a traitor, adding a layer of tension and paranoia. Hand management forces you to think carefully about when to play your cards, while dice rolls determine encounters and combat with monsters straight out of a Lovecraft dream. The expansion also introduces new puzzles, Cthulhu Mythos events, and detailed miniatures that bring the horror to life. If you love mystery, horror, and strategic challenges, this expansion will keep you on the edge of your seat, constantly questioning who you can trust. With 120‑180 minutes, 1‑5 players and a moderate complexity level, Horrific Journeys is the adventure that will elevate your Mansions of Madness experience.
