Assault on Castle Grayskull introduces a brand‑new game mode that pits players against each other in two distinct teams: the aggressors, who aim to breach the legendary Castle Grayskull’s walls, and the defenders, who must hold the siege and guard the magical secrets within. Throughout the game, each player selects upgrades that amplify their strategy, whether it’s unleashing devastating attacks or bolstering the castle’s defenses. Defenders gain access to tools such as a powerful Laser Turret, banners that grant bonuses to troops, and other devices that increase the castle’s resilience. Aggressors, on the other hand, wield force shields, battle ladders, and other cunning tactics to carve a path to victory. The expansion includes a 2‑D castle overlay that changes the board and adds new combat zones, as well as a plastic castle that must be purchased separately. The game retains the cooperative and campaign dynamics of the base game but adds a deeper layer of strategy, with tactical decisions that directly influence the course of the showdown. If you enjoy games that blend intense action with careful planning, this expansion delivers hours of epic fun.
