About the game
Get your brain ready, because Mazescape: Labýrinthos is not playing around! If you're the type who loves a good puzzle and doesn't mind a little mental workout, this solo game from Devir is about to become your new best friend. The concept is brilliant and unlike anything you've seen: you get physical maps that you literally have to open, close, and fold to navigate. Forget the idea of just moving a piece across a flat surface; here, three-dimensionality is the key to survival.

The goal sounds simple on paper but is a total brain-twister in practice: you start at the compass rose and must slide a special pointer along the white labyrinth paths, without ever lifting it from the map. The big twist? To find the legendary Impossible Triangle and escape, you'll have to manipulate the map itself, passing under bridges or climbing ladders that only exist when you fold the paper in a specific way. It's a tactile, almost physical experience of discovery.

The journey is split into three main territories: the Docks, the Graveyard, and the Mountain. The game is excellently structured, starting with friendlier maps to help you grasp the logic, and progressively ramping up the difficulty until you hit the final challenge that will leave you wondering, 'how did I miss that?'. Beyond the main escape, there are secondary objectives for those who want to squeeze every drop of satisfaction (and headache) out of the experience. It's a compact game, easy to take anywhere, but with a depth that will keep you hooked through multiple sessions as you try to uncover every nook and cranny of the seven included maps. It's the kind of challenge where you think, 'I'll just try one,' and before you know it, you're already tackling the next map!
