About the game
What you do in a play session
If you're into the Memoir '44 universe and want to amp up your campaigns, Campaign Book Volume 1 is your next move! This hefty book packs over 50 brand-new scenarios for you to relive major WWII conflicts right at your table. Imagine replaying the Battle of Normandy, the Blitzkrieg in the West in 1940, or even Operation Barbarossa on the Russian Front.
The cool part is that battles aren't isolated. The advanced campaign rules ensure that the outcome of each scenario influences the next. Won a battle? You're one step closer to ultimate victory. Lost? Brace yourself for setbacks, or perhaps, a complete rout of your army! It's designed to make you feel the pressure and excitement of commanding troops during crucial historical moments, whether you're stepping into the boots of General Montgomery or leading a German column.
To play the Normandy campaign, you won't need any extra expansions. However, for the Blitzkrieg and Operation Barbarossa campaigns, you'll need the Terrain Pack and Eastern Front tiles, respectively. And if you like the idea of air support, the Air Pack is recommended for all campaigns, though not strictly required. Get ready to dive deep into history and test your tactics like never before!

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
Do I need the base Memoir '44 game to use this book?
Yes, absolutely! This is a campaign and scenario book that expands the Memoir '44 base game. You need the base game to play.
How many new scenarios are included in this book?
The book features over 50 new scenarios, divided into three major campaigns: Normandy, Blitzkrieg to the West, and Operation Barbarossa.
Are the campaigns linked? What happens if I lose a battle?
Exactly! The campaigns are linked, and the outcome of each battle affects subsequent ones. Losing can bring difficulties or even the total defeat of your army in the campaign.
Do I need to buy other expansions to play all the scenarios?
For the Normandy campaign, no. But for the Blitzkrieg to the West and Operation Barbarossa scenarios, you will need tiles from the Terrain Pack and Eastern Front, respectively. The Air Pack is recommended for all.
What is the complexity of the new rules?
The campaign rules are considered advanced but stay within the accessible spirit of Memoir '44. The book explains everything clearly, but the strategic depth increases with the campaigns.
Does this book add new physical components to the game?
No, this is a rule and scenario book. It does not come with new miniatures or pieces, but it may indicate the use of components from other expansions.
