About the game
What you do in a play session
If you're a Memoir '44 enthusiast who loves a good war story that unfolds gradually, then Memoir '44: Campaign Book Volume 2 is exactly what you need! This is the second hardcover campaign book for the Memoir '44 game system, and it brings a ton of new content to your battle tables. Get ready for 46 brand-new scenarios, all designed to be played in succession, where the outcome of each confrontation shapes the next. It's like having your own World War II epic, but you're the general! The scenarios are organized into eleven different campaigns, covering a variety of operational theaters. You'll dive into two campaigns in the Pacific: 'Island Hoppers', a Grand Campaign recounting the progressive Allied reconquest of the Pacific after Pearl Harbor, and 'Bicycle Blitzkrieg', which simulates the Japanese invasion of Malaya in 1941-1942. Furthermore, the book introduces the first 'Breakthrough' campaign for Memoir '44, titled 'Breakthrough Normandy', which puts you in command of the Allied offensive in Normandy, from D-Day through August 1944. And it doesn't stop there! There's also 'Fall of Poland', depicting the desperate Polish resistance against the German Blitzkrieg of September 1939, and 'Air Aces', a campaign following the exploits of famous air aces throughout the war. To boost your games, the book comes with a punchboard containing fifty new game tokens. But pay attention: to enjoy all of this, you'll need the Memoir '44 base game and some specific expansions, such as Memoir '44: Pacific Theater, Memoir '44: Air Pack, Memoir '44: Terrain Pack, and Memoir '44: Breakthrough. Prepare your dice and your cards, because history awaits you!

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
What does Memoir '44: Campaign Book Volume 2 add to the base game?
It adds 46 new scenarios organized into 11 campaigns, where the outcome of one battle influences the next, plus 50 new game tokens. It's a way to play Memoir '44 with a continuous narrative.
Do I need anything besides the base game to play this supplement?
Yes! In addition to the Memoir '44 base game, you'll need specific expansions for some campaigns, such as Memoir '44: Pacific Theater, Memoir '44: Air Pack, Memoir '44: Terrain Pack, and Memoir '44: Breakthrough.
What are the themes of the included campaigns?
The campaigns cover various World War II operational theaters, including 'Island Hoppers' and 'Bicycle Blitzkrieg' in the Pacific, 'Breakthrough Normandy' in Europe, 'Fall of Poland', and 'Air Aces' focusing on aerial battles.
Is this supplement for beginner or experienced Memoir '44 players?
It's best suited for players who already know and love Memoir '44, as it deepens the experience with complex campaigns and requires several other expansions. It's content for those who want to go beyond the basics.
What is the overall complexity of the game with this supplement?
The complexity increases slightly, as the campaign rules and scenario interconnections add an extra strategic layer. The base game's BGG weight is 2.1579, and the campaigns raise that a bit, but it's still accessible for those who master the basic rules.
Are the campaign rules very different from the standard rules?
The campaign rules build upon those introduced in Volume 1, connecting scenarios and allowing the outcomes of one battle to affect the next. They don't change the core mechanics but add an interesting meta-game.
Does the book have language dependency?
Yes, the book has high language dependency, requiring almost all content to be translated to play if you are not proficient in English.
