About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready for a souped-up Monopoly! The Mega Edition not only brings a larger board, with 12 extra spaces and 9 new properties for you to dominate (including the famous Gas Company and avenues like California and Massachusetts), but it also speeds up the game. Forget the long hours of drawn-out negotiation and bankruptcies; here, the action is more dynamic thanks to a special speed die and bus cards, which give you surprising freedom of movement. Building skyscrapers is now possible, raising rents to "mega" levels, and the train stations can yield double if you invest in them. You start with $2500, including a $1000 bill to give that initial boost. The speed die can take you to unowned properties or, worse, to those you owe rent on – watch out! Bus tickets, on the other hand, are great for going wherever you want, but be careful: they expire! This version promises more fun and intensity, maintaining the essence of the classic but with a modern twist that speeds up the game without losing the thrill of watching your opponents go bankrupt.
