About the game
Ever thought about flipping the script on classic 80s horror movies? In Monster Slaughter, you and your monster family are the stars of the night, and the goal is to hunt down and eliminate those insufferable teenagers who've taken refuge in a secluded cabin in the woods. Forget being the victim; here, you're the predator, and the slaughter is your favorite sport! Each player commands a family of three monsters — father, mother, and child — each with their own stats and a unique family power. Your challenge is to scour the cabin, find the five hidden guests, and, of course, 'take care' of them. The victims are concealed in piles of cards, and as your monsters search for them, they might find useful items or traps. Once revealed, the teenager is placed on the board and can be attacked. But the most fun (and strategic) part is that each player secretly sets a killing order for the guests. Killing them in the correct sequence earns more points! You can use item cards to defend the teenagers from other monsters or even scare them into other rooms, ensuring they die in your preferred order. The game also comes with a scenario book, offering new objectives and special rules so that each moonless night is a fresh and bloody experience. Get ready for a night of tactical horror with plenty of humor!
