About the game
What you do in a play session
Get ready to dive back into the chaotic and hilarious world of Munchkin with the third expansion in the Legends line! Munchkin Legends 3: Myth Prints brings over 50 brand-new cards for fans of the base game, adding an extra dose of mythology, bizarre monsters, and, of course, that sharp humor we love (or hate, depending on the day!).
The big new feature here is the Gladiator character, who becomes even more dangerous when his life is on the line – a mechanic that adds an extra layer of risk and reward to your plays. Besides him, you'll find new monsters to face, each with their unique challenges and treasures, and a flood of new Treasure cards to power up your character or sabotage your friends. And don't worry, the bad jokes and puns are guaranteed, ready to elicit laughs or groans of exasperation from the table.
This set is perfect for those who already enjoy Munchkin's "grab and play" style but want more variety and a mythological twist. The "Take That" mechanic remains strong, so expect plenty of backstabbing and twists. Dice rolling and hand management are essential, as always, but the addition of open drafting might bring new dynamics to how you acquire cards. Remember, this is an expansion, so you NEED the base Munchkin Legends game to play. The language dependency is moderate, so having a translated copy of the cards or a lookup sheet can be very helpful to not miss any jokes or specific rules.
If you're looking for a light, competitive experience full of laughs (and maybe some friendly arguments), Munchkin Legends 3: Myth Prints is a welcome addition to your collection. It's the kind of game that shines in groups that don't take themselves too seriously and love a good dose of strategic chaos.

Frequently Asked Questions
Quick answers before you buy
Do I need the base Munchkin Legends game to play?
Yes, absolutely! Munchkin Legends 3: Myth Prints is an expansion and cannot be played alone. You need to own the original Munchkin Legends to use these cards.
How many cards come in this pack?
This expansion adds 56 new cards to your game, including monsters, treasures, and new jokes to spice up your matches.
Is the game very complicated?
Munchkin is known for being a relatively simple and quick game to learn. The BGG weight is 1.5/5, indicating it's very light and accessible, great for those who want something more casual.
What type of player is this expansion for?
It's ideal for fans of the Munchkin line, especially those who already play Munchkin Legends and want more content. It's also good for groups that enjoy games with humor, direct (and sometimes chaotic) interaction, and a touch of mythology.
Do I need to know English to play?
The game has a moderate language dependency. The cards have text that may contain jokes and specific rules. Having a translated version or a quick reference can greatly help avoid confusion and ensure fun.
What does the new Gladiator character do?
The Gladiator gets stronger the more dangerous his situation in the game becomes, adding a 'risk to gain' element that can change your strategies.
Can I mix this with other Munchkin expansions?
Theoretically, yes! The beauty of Munchkin is its flexibility. However, mixing too many expansions can make the game a bit longer and more complex. It's recommended to start by using only the base game and one expansion at a time.
