How to Play Mysterium: Hidden Signs

Game Objective

In Mysterium: Hidden Signs, players are invited by Conrad Mac Dowell to help establish contact with a ghost that has returned to haunt the mansion. The ghost is causing players to have horrifying visions that need to be deciphered. The objective is to use the psychics' abilities to communicate with the ghost and unravel the mystery.

Setup

The setup for Mysterium: Hidden Signs follows the rules of the base game, with some additions of expansion components:

• The 42 vision cards from the Hidden Signs expansion are shuffled with the 84 vision cards from the base game, forming a new deck of vision cards.
• The psychic cards (suspect / location / object) from the Hidden Signs expansion are shuffled with the psychic cards (character / location / object) from the base game.
• The beyond cards (suspect / location / object) from the Hidden Signs expansion are shuffled with the ghost cards (character / location / object) from the base game.
• The base game setup rules are maintained for the remaining components.

Specific expansion components include:

• 42 vision cards
• 6 beyond cards (with backs numbered HS1 to HS6)
• 6 psychic cards (suspect cards)
• 6 beyond cards (with backs numbered HS7 to HS12)
• 6 psychic cards (location cards)
• 6 beyond cards (with backs numbered HS13 to HS18)
• 6 psychic cards (object cards)
