About the game
What you do in a play session
Get your deduction skills ready because Mystic Paths is going to test how well you know your friends! The goal is to navigate through the mysterious Eternal Forest, a labyrinth filled with sealed portals that can only be opened with the help of your teammates. The catch? Your path is unique and only you know where you are headed, so you must guide your companions without causing total chaos.
Here is how it works: each turn, you must provide a clue about your next destination among several portal options. But don't think it's going to be easy! You can't just say the name of the place; you have to use the clue cards dealt to you. Imagine your next destination is 'anteater.' If you have cards with the words 'hairy' or 'long,' you'll need to be incredibly creative to make your teammates grasp the connection before time runs out. It's a game of pure mind-reading, where success depends on how well you can link abstract concepts to the available cards.
The challenge is collective: every player must complete their individual journey before the five rounds are up. If someone gets stuck in the labyrinth, the whole group loses. It's a fast-paced game with simple rules, but it requires great synergy between players. It is perfect for fans of 'Who am I?' or guessing games, but with a touch of fantasy and cooperation. Just a heads-up: since clues depend on specific cards, creativity is your best ally to prevent the group from getting lost in the forest!
