About the game

What you do in a play session

Mysticana: Nine Perils is a solo challenge that blends future forecasting and card management in a 15‑minute burst of tension. You take on the role of a seer who must avoid nine looming disasters using only the base Mysticana deck. Each game starts with a hand of cards that scales with the chosen difficulty, and you face a timeline of nine hidden peril cards. On each turn you reveal one of those cards, draw a new card into your hand, and then play a card from your hand into an empty space below any revealed peril card. Hand‑management mechanics kick in: you must pick the right card at the right time to outmatch the peril’s element and rank. After nine turns, you compare each peril card with the adjacent card you played. If all perils are outmatched, you win; otherwise, disaster looms. The game is quick but demands strategic foresight and planning, as each choice can shift the entire timeline. Mysticana: Nine Perils fits perfectly into the Wallet & Box micro‑game line, delivering a short but deep experience that can be played anywhere—from a work break to a train ride. If you enjoy logic puzzles, card games focused on strategy, and solo experiences that require reflection, this title is for you.
