About the game
What you do in a play session
Dionysus arrives for Mythic Battles Pantheon, and he's not here for a fight, but to bring opulence and chaos! This expansion introduces a control-oriented god who revels in festivities and isn't afraid to spread joy (and confusion) across the battlefield. Get ready for the "Orgiastic Procession," the ability that simulates Dionysus's grand arrival with his followers. You'll gain numerous troops with many activation cards, all to showcase his richness and extravagance. And don't underestimate him; Dionysus boasts high life points and plenty of "art of war" cards.
The satyr children are the true masters of map control. They possess the "Block" talent, but don't mistake it for brute force. They're too busy serving wine and ensuring no one has more fun than they do! These followers hinder enemy advances not through combat, but because opponents are too engrossed in drinking and feasting. Dionysus's goal isn't to eliminate opponents by fighting, but to make them lose themselves in the chaotic bliss of merriment. This troop disrupts the opponent and grants incredible map control.
While the satyrs can't attack or collect gems (they're busy serving and partying, after all), they help Dionysus control the field and, potentially, even secure the Omphalos for victory. Dionysus can be a somewhat technical god to play, with low mobility requiring strategic positioning. However, he dominates the field and can turn an opponent's strategy upside down, especially with his ability to send his followers to collect the Omphalos. Prepare for a map control and disruption experience like no other!
