About the game

What you do in a play session

Nightfall: Blood Country adds a fresh twist to the already chaotic atmosphere of Nightfall, expanding the deck‑building experience with vampires, werewolves, hunters, and ghouls that bring a horror edge to the game. The expansion introduces innovative wound abilities that generate effects beyond typical card effects. Each card has a main color and two linking colors; if you match a card’s main color with one of the linking colors of the previous card, you can create a chain. Once started, all players get a chance to add cards to the chain during the same turn. Cards in the chain resolve in reverse order, with instant effects that deal damage to opponents or bring characters to defend and attack. The goal remains to put wounds into opponents’ decks and finish the game with the fewest wounds. But beware: the more wounds you accumulate, the faster your deck runs, bringing more cards and larger chains. Blood Country requires you to own Nightfall or Nightfall: Martial Law to play, as it cannot function independently.
