About the game
What you do in a play session
In Ninja Dice, you step into the shoes of an aspiring ninja aiming to prove you're the greatest thief around! The premise is straightforward: break into houses, steal what you can, and escape clean. To do this, you'll roll a bunch of dice representing the house's challenges – like guards, nosy residents, and locked doors. Then come your Skill dice, which you use to overcome these obstacles with stealth, combat, or lockpicking. There are even special Fortune dice that can boost your results, but with a twist: they only work if other dice are in specific positions on the table. A truly unique mechanic!
If you succeed, you score points and escape. If you fail, you can try your luck again to grab more treasure, but beware! Each re-roll increases the chance of other ninjas joining the fray. They can roll Threat dice to hinder you, steal your loot, or even shoot you (and other ninjas!). This constant interaction keeps everyone on the edge of their seats. The game plays out over three rounds, each more difficult than the last, and whoever accumulates the most points at the end earns the glory of being the ultimate ninja. It's a fast-paced game, full of adrenaline and that satisfying tension of 'should I risk one more die?'
