Hey everyone! We've got a little something for those already enjoying the Nucleum universe: the "Nucleum Half Tiles Promo" pack! If you own the base game, get ready to spice up your sessions. This neat little addition brings in some new tiles that will definitely tweak your strategy.
What's in this box? You'll find 4 Contract Space tiles, 5 Action Fragment tiles, and 1 Offer tile. The initial setup gets a slight makeover: the Offer tile is placed above the main board, ready to receive 5 Action Fragment tiles. Each player also gets a Contract Space tile to call their own.
And how does this change the game? The cool part is that when you perform the Contract action, you can place the newly acquired contract onto your Contract Space tile. This immediately grants you one of the Action Fragment tiles from the Offer. But heads up: you can only hold one Action Fragment tile at a time. If you want to swap, just return the old one to the Offer and grab the new one. This even applies to the 'take a contract with a double reward' action!
Using these Action Fragments is where the real magic happens. Before you perform any action involving placing a tile (whether on your player board or the main board), you can use an Action Fragment to cover one of the actions on that tile. Then, you execute all the visible actions and, afterward, discard the Action Fragment tile back to the Offer. There's a special case: if you place a tile on the map and cover an action that wasn't adjacent to anything else, the Action Fragment tile stays on the map, still counting as yours, until another tile is placed next to it. Only then is it discarded (and only if its action was triggered).
This promo is for those who want to add an extra layer of tactical depth to their Nucleum games, offering more strategic choices and a fresh way to optimize your plays. It's not a standalone game, but a nice little add-on that makes a difference for existing fans!

Do I need the base Nucleum game to use this expansion?
Yes, absolutely! This is a promotional item and functions as an add-on, so the base Nucleum game is essential to play it.
How many players can enjoy this promo?
The promo is for 1 to 4 players, just like the base Nucleum game.
Does this expansion change the rules significantly?
It adds new tiles and a different way to obtain and use Action Fragments, which brings more tactical options, but it doesn't reinvent the game.
What are the Action Fragments?
These are special tiles you can use to cover an action on a tile before performing it, modifying the effect or gaining a bonus. You can only hold one at a time.
Is it worth it for solo players?
Yes! The new tactical options and the way to manage Action Fragments can bring an interesting freshness even to solo games.
Does the game's complexity increase much with this promo?
Slightly. The addition of Action Fragments and their specific rules add an extra layer of decision-making, but nothing that should scare off players already familiar with Nucleum.
