About the game
What you do in a play session
One Night Revolution is a lightning‑fast hidden‑identity game for 3‑10 players, perfect for fans of bluffing, deduction, and heavy social interaction. Each participant receives a specialist role – such as hacker, diplomat, or field agent – and an ID indicating whether they belong to the Government (Informant) or the Rebels. During the night phase, any Informants (ranging from zero to three) reveal themselves to each other, then everyone carries out their special abilities in clockwise order. These actions can gather intel, swap roles, or provide clues to help their side identify the hidden players. At daybreak the discussion and voting begin: if a majority pins the Informants, the Rebels win; if the Informants stay concealed, they claim victory. A full round takes about 15 minutes, allowing multiple games in one sitting. Rules are straightforward, easing new players in, while depth emerges from role combinations and reading the table. The main components are well‑illustrated cards, with no board or extra tokens, making setup virtually instant. Its low weight (1.9/5) signals a gentle learning curve, yet high replayability thanks to ever‑changing roles. If you enjoy Werewolf, Secret Hitler, or other social deduction classics, One Night Revolution offers the same tension in an even tighter, sci‑fi‑flavored package.
