What you do in a play session
Overlapping Interests is a fast-paced economic game for 3-6 players competing to amass wealth through a tug-of-war over shares in interconnected company blocks. The twist? The tiles you bid on represent share certificates owned by you, rivals, or the bank. The limited central grid becomes a 3D tower of overlapping interests — but only top-facing tiles pay dividends! Expect cutthroat strategies: sometimes buying cheap shares just to dilute others' payouts, or heavily investing to boost your holdings before calling dividends. In about 45 minutes, it delivers a crash course in stock dilution and ROI through gameplay that feels like a stock exchange on discount day.
