About the game
What you do in a play session
Pairamid whisks players straight into ancient Egypt, where pyramids hide treasure and deadly traps. Each participant picks two colors—represented by pyramid markers—and controls researchers that crawl through the colored corridors of the board. A turn starts with the first player rolling all dice and selecting one to place on a matching space, regardless of whose color it is. The researcher of that color then moves the indicated number of spaces, jumping over occupied squares. Landing on the White Scarab rewards all players with markers of that color with the treasure amount shown; landing on the Black Scarab makes them lose the same amount. The scarabs advance chamber by chamber, increasing or decreasing the score each time. The Great Chamber acts as a shortcut and also as the final spot: when a researcher enters it after the matching scarab is already there, that scarab’s value (+7 or -7) is scored and the game ends. The player with the most treasure tokens wins. The game blends dice luck with team‑based planning, as you must support your own colors while hindering opponents. In about 30 minutes, 2–4 players enjoy a quick, light, and twist‑filled experience, perfect for fans of exploration games with a dash of randomness.
