About the game

What you do in a play session

In Paleontologists, you take on the role of a paleontologist trying to dig up the best fossils to score points. It's a roll-and-write game where you use two six-sided dice to determine which shapes and dig types to use on your archaeological site. Each round, you roll the dice, choose a shape and a dig type, and draw on your map. The goal is to completely surround fossils with your digs to mark them and earn points. Strategy is key, as you can earn bonuses by using the same dig type or by covering bonus stars on the map. The game lasts 20 rounds, and the player with the most points at the end wins. It's quick, fun, and perfect for those who enjoy games that mix luck and planning.
