Splendor: Pokémon brings the classic gameplay of the original Splendor into the vibrant and familiar world of Pokémon. Instead of gems, you collect Pokéballs in five colors, which act as resources to catch creatures. Each time you capture a Pokémon, it becomes a permanent source of Pokéballs, making it easier to catch more expensive and valuable species. The reservation mechanic lets you lock a Pokémon for yourself, costing a round, but gives you a Master Ball—a Pokéball of any color—that can be used in future catches. Additionally, at the end of each turn, you can evolve a Pokémon you already have if the next level is on display and you have the required Pokéballs, earning extra points and an additional card for your Pokédex. The game introduces two new decks: Rare Pokémon and Legendary Pokémon. Each provides two permanent Pokéballs when captured, and Legendary Pokémon require a Master Ball to catch but are worth more points. When someone reaches 18 points, the final round is played and the player with the most points wins.
