About the game
What you do in a play session
In Potions of Azerland, you become an alchemist mastering magical brews. Over 6 intense rounds, you'll gather forest ingredients, research new formulas, bargain at the market, and decide whether to drink potions for temporary boosts or sell them to travelers for prestige. The genius lies in the simultaneous action system—everyone programs moves at once, so reading opponents' intentions becomes key. You might focus on lucrative contracts, invest in tech trees, or gamble on explosive potion combos. There's even a solo mode for practicing without distractions. Components are gorgeous, with potion bottles that spice up any table. Just remember: sometimes it's better to drink the potion yourself than sell it to that shady traveler...

Best player count?
2-3 players is the sweet spot. With 4 it might drag a bit in early games.
Language dependent?
Moderately so. Some groups print translations for traveler cards.
Good for beginners?
Has a learning curve, but visual references help. Best for players familiar with similar-weight games.
How's the solo mode?
Well designed! You play against an automata simulating travelers. Challenging but fair.
Too dice-dependent?
Dice matter but can be mitigated with tech trees and planning. Not purely random.
Worth it for the theme?
If you love alchemy/fantasy, yes! Bottle components and art create immersive atmosphere.
