About the game
Nemesis is the first expansion for Relic that takes the game to a new level of intensity and diversity. It introduces optional player‑vs‑player combat, allowing up to two participants to take on the role of nemeses—such as the fierce World Eaters Berserker or the cunning Eldar Dire Avenger—while the rest continue as Imperium characters. Additionally, the expansion adds two new characters for the Imperium side: the lethal Eversor Assassin and the brave Storm Trooper Sergeant, expanding the roster and increasing the maximum player count from four to six.

Nemesis also adds a standalone PvP mechanic called "Apostates versus Devotee," where characters that choose to use prohibited gear become Apostates and face the puritanical Devotees. This creates internal conflicts and unexpected alliances, adding layers of strategy.

For those who love the thrill of space exploration, the expansion brings four brand‑new scenarios, such as "Hulk of the Wayward Warrior," which challenges players to clean up an ancient space hull, and "Master Collector," which requires teams to bring forbidden treasures to a reclusive Rogue Trader. The scenarios increase risk and reward, keeping the game fresh.

In terms of components, Nemesis offers new equipment cards, character tokens, and additional dice, along with detailed rules that integrate with the original system. Playtime stays around 150 minutes, but complexity rises slightly, demanding attention to the new mechanics.

If you already own Relic and want to expand the experience with more players, characters, and conflict possibilities, Nemesis is a solid choice that keeps the core game intact while adding plenty of fun and depth.
