About the game

What you do in a play session

Investigating an abandoned mansion should be a walk in the dark, until a gunshot shatters the plaster. In Revolver Noir, two players become private investigators trapped inside that gloomy house, each with a deck of cards representing either John Doe or Jane Doe. At the start, each player secretly picks a starting room and keeps the rest of their cards hidden, revealing only the card that shows their current location. Turns alternate, and each round you receive Action Points that can be spent to move between rooms, listen for noises, set traps, or fire. Every room carries a unique effect usable only while you occupy it; simply reveal your location and follow the room card’s instructions. The goal is brutally simple: hit your opponent twice before they pull the same trick on you. The game blends deduction—interpreting room effects and listening cues—with hidden movement, as the opponent’s position stays secret until a shot or a forced reveal. In under 15 minutes the tension escalates from a silent mystery to a rapid shoot‑out, all without a board—just cards that fit in a pocket. Action Points demand strategic budgeting, because spending a point on movement or listening might be the difference between life and death. As a Print & Play title, you can download and print it at home, making it perfect for impromptu sessions or fans of pocket‑sized microgames. If you love fast deduction duels and a game that literally fits in your wallet, Revolver Noir delivers that experience with plenty of replay value thanks to varied room combos.
