Get ready for a trick-taking experience that will turn your head! In LUZ, you enter a cathedral and must compose with colors and light to outshine your opponents. The big twist here is that you hold your cards in a very different way: the faces are turned towards the other players, so *they* know the value of your cards, but *you don't*! Sounds crazy, right? But that's where the magic of deduction comes into play. You know the suits of your cards (because they are printed on both sides), and at the beginning of each round, a fellow player organizes your cards by suit and in ascending order of value, giving you a valuable clue. By observing your opponents' hands and paying attention to what they do, you need to deduce the value of your own cards to make your bid. Not all cards are used in every round, which adds an extra layer of uncertainty and forces you to be a true detective. The goal is to correctly bid how many tricks you think you will win. It's a game that blends the familiarity of trick-taking with an asymmetric information twist that will make you think in a whole new way. If you enjoy a mental challenge and love to surprise your friends, LUZ is a sure bet!
